X-Files 2 Movie Details From WonderCon

“The X Files 2″ was included in WonderCon this past weekend and David Duchovny, Gillian Anderson, Frank Spotnitz and creator, Chris Carter were on hand to answer questions (not that they gave many since this plot is a pretty well-guarded secret). 

Anthony Baratta gave a pretty detailed account of what they all had to say which can be viewed by clicking here.  As a quick overview, he talked about the teaser trailer that was shown which included scenes of FBI/Police with dogs and long sticks searching a large “snow covered meadow” with one character (played by Billy Connolly) saying, “It’s here” over and over again.  There were some quick cuts to other stuff but it just kept coming back to that snow covered meadow where they find a girl frozen in what looks like a block of ice under the snow.  Hmm…. 

Also worth noting was the mention that no characters ever truly die on “The X-Files.”  What does that mean?  Will we be seeing Smoking Man and Krycek?  Wow!  I would love that, actually.  I wish they had said “on The X-Files, no characters are every truly adopted.”  Bring on baby William!!!
