"Wanted" Preview & Trailer

Ah, it does my heart good to see Angelina Jolie kick some major butt. I haven’t seen Wanted yet, but loved all of her other action flicks - namely, Mr. and Mrs. Smith and the Lara Croft movies.

In Wanted, she plays a highly trained assassin, but the story revolves around a 25-year-old Wes (James McAvoy), a cube-dwelling drone who’s sick of everything. After his estranged father is murdered, Wes meets the deadly and sexy Fox (Jolie), who recruits him into the Fraternity, a secret society that trains Wes to avenge his dad’s death by unlocking his dormant powers.
As she teaches him how to develop lightning-quick reflexes and phenomenal agility, Wes discovers this team lives by an ancient, unbreakable code: carry out the death orders given by fate itself. Of course, there’s more to this group than meets the eye. Morgan Freeman stars as the Fraternity’s leader.
Directed by Timur Bekmambetov, Wanted is rated R for strong bloody violence throughout, pervasive language, and some sexuality. In theaters June 27, 2008.
