"Twilight" Star Takes "Summer" Trip

Ashley Greene, one of the stars of the upcoming film Twilight, will star in “Summer,” an indie thriller directed by horror filmmaker Lee De Marbre (he also did The Dead Sleep Easy).

On her quest to find the father she’s never known, Greene’s character encounters a family of serial killers, played by Stephen McHattie, Barbara Niven and Peter Mooney.

The film is halfway through its Ottawa shoot, and footage will be shown in the fall at the American Film Market.

I heard about this film a while back, but I’m surprised that it’s so far along. I’m not much of a horror fan, but I’m sure the Twilight connection will bring in plenty of viewers.
