Trailer for "Tropic Thunder" Mockumentary Online

July 9, 2008 by Jane Boursaw

tropicthunder1 Ok, this could get confusing. At least for pea-brains like mine. Dreamworks/Paramount has released a new trailer for Tropic Thunder’s mockumentary, “Rain of Madness,” which talks about what happened during the shooting of the movie within the movie. Got that?

Tropic Thunder opens August 15, 2008, and stars Ben Stiller, Jack Black, and Robert Downey, Jr. as a group of actors shooting a big-budget war movie. Only through a series of freak occurrences (what? freak occurrences in a Stiller-Black-Downey movie? how shocking), they’re forced to become the soldiers they are portraying.

More after the jump…

Check out the official Web site for “Rain of Madness” here. And here’s the trailer, but be aware that it contains objectionable content not for kids younger than 14:

Hilarious. They nailed it, right down to the Apocalypse Now font. Can’t wait to see Tropic Thunder.
