"Tinker Bell" Speaks!

June 5, 2008 by Jane Boursaw

tinkerbell The long-awaited direct-to-DVD Tinker Bell finally has a release date: Oct. 28, 2008.

The Peter Pan spin-off — a CG-animated film — marks the first time the little fairy will speak. She IS a fairy, isn’t she? I dunno, she might be some sort of related creature, though no less sweet (or spirited).

Tinker Bell will be voiced by Mae Whitman, replacing Brittany Murphy, who’d been associated with the project when it was first announced two years ago. Also lending their voices: Jesse McCartney, Raven-Symone, Kristin Chenoweth, and Anjelica Huston.
