Mark Ruffalo and Adrien Brody in The Brothers Bloom – Preview & Trailer

April 14, 2009 by Jane Boursaw

"The Brothers Bloom" looks awesome. It stars Rachel Weisz, Adrien Brody and Mark Ruffalo, and follows the last great adventure of the world’s two best con men. Their task: show a beautiful, eccentric heiress the time of her life on a globe-trotting journey.

All of these stars tend to pick interesting, offbeat movies, and I wonder if this will be one of those "who’s conning whom" movies I love so well. It’s written and directed by Rian Johnson, who also helmed 2005’s "Brick" and the upcoming "Looper," scheduled for a 2010 release.

Watch the trailer after the jump…

"The Brothers Bloom" hits theaters in limited release on May 15, 2009, and wide release on May 29, 2009.
