Rob Pattinson in "Little Ashes" – Trailer

Whenever you have a smash-hit like “Twilight,” folks are bound to start taking an interest in the projects of all the stars involved. For Robert Pattinson, who plays the beautiful vampire Edward in the film, that would be “Little Ashes,” a film in which he stars as artist Salvador Dali.

You certainly can’t say he’s pigeon-holing himself into any particular role, because in “Little Ashes,” he has a love scene with another male actor. The film chronicles the life and loves of Dali, as well as filmmaker Luis Buñuel (Matthew McNulty) and writer Federico García Lorca (Javier Beltran). I know it’s making the rounds on the film festival circuit, but I’m not sure of a theatrical release. I’ll keep you posted on that. It’s rated R for sexual content, language and a brief disturbing image.

"Yes Man" – Preview & Trailer

Jim Carrey has grown on me in recent years, and his upcoming movie, “Yes Man,” looks pretty darn funny.

Carrey stars as Carl Allen, a guy whose life is going nowhere until he signs up for a self-help program based on one simple covenant: say “yes” to everything. Unleashing the power of “YES” begins to transform Carl’s life in amazing and unexpected ways, getting him promoted at work and opening the door to a new romance. But is his willingness to embrace every opportunity too much of a good thing? I’m guessing the answer to that is Yes!

“Yes Man” hits theaters Dec. 19, 2008, and is rated PG-13 for crude sexual humor, language and brief nudity. Also stars Zooey Deschanel, Terence Stamp, Bradley Cooper, Danny Masterson, and Molly Sims.

"Revolutionary Road" Trailer – Kate & Leo!

Ooh, “Revolutionary Road” looks dramatic. How fun to see Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio on screen together again, and I love the music and 1950s stuff. This movie hits theaters in limited release Dec. 26, 2008. Rated R for language and some sexual content/nudity.

"Revolutionary Road" – Preview & Trailer

“Revolutionary Road” premieres Dec. 26, 2008. It re-teams Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet (“Titanic”!) as a young couple living in a Connecticut suburb during the mid-1950s, struggling to overcome personal problems while trying to raise their two children.

Based on a novel by Richard Yates, this film is directed by Sam Mendes. It looks like a beautiful homage to the 1950s. See if you agree, based on the trailer:
