My mom is the biggest “Star Trek” fan I know, so we grew up watching the original series, and then every series that came after it. Out of all the shows and movies, I have a soft spot for “Star Trek: The Next Generation.” I know those characters the best, and Wil Wheaton (Wesley Crusher) has even become a friend (We’re friends, aren’t we, Wil? We’re just making final tweaks to the movie — we should be totally locked next week. Then we’re going to flash-freeze it so it’s totally fresh for you in May. I can’t wait for you to see the movie.
