November 19, 2009 by Jane Boursaw
Here’s some Robert Pattinson news that’s NOT related to “The Twilight Saga: New Moon.” No sparkling vampires in the trailer for “Remember Me,” in which Pattinson and Emilie de Ravin star as two lovers dealing with respective family tragedies.
Directed by Allen Coulter, the Summit Entertainment film also stars Pierce Brosnan and Chris Cooper, and is set for a March 12, 2010 release date. Remember Me in HD

Taylor Lautner: Chris Weitz was always supportive
November 17, 2009 by Jane Boursaw
Before it was confirmed that Taylor Lautner would return as Jacob Black in “The Twilight Saga: New Moon,” there were some dark times at the end of 2008. But he says he tried to focus on things he could control, rather than being sucked into the black hole of what was going on.
"Chris [Weitz] was always extremely supportive and I was glad to have him behind me," Lautner says. He is such a cutie! And I’m like some lovelorn Twi-hard teeny-bopper!
“New Moon” hits theaters in three days. Have you got your tickets? I do!
Dakota Fanning talks ‘New Moon’ and Vampires on Ellen
November 16, 2009 by Jane Boursaw
Dakota Fanning stopped by the Ellen DeGeneres show to plug “The Twilight Saga: New Moon,” as well as show a new clip. That Ellen is such a prankster, though; she pulled a little vampire switch on Dakota (who’s totally grown up now!). “New Moon” hits theaters this Friday, Nov. 20, 2009.
New Moon’s Volturi dish about the movie
November 14, 2009 by Jane Boursaw
The Volturi clan has a few things to say about what it was like to film “The Twilight Saga: New Moon.” Hollywood Dailies caught up with Michael Sheen, Jaime Campbell Bower, Dakota Fanning, and Cameron Bright to hear what they had to say about their vampire inspirations and wearing those red contacts.
And apparently, Dakota Fanning and Kristen Stewart are BFFs, having filmed “New Moon,” “The Runaways,” and “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse” together back to back.
“New Moon” hits theaters next Friday, Nov. 20, 2009.
‘New Moon’ gang hits Madrid
November 13, 2009 by Jane Boursaw
The cast from “The Twilight Saga: New Moon” continues to journey across the globe making appearances to promote the film (like it really needs it). Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and Taylor Lautner showed up in Madrid at the Palacio de Vistalegre.
All three of these actors are darn cute, and I love everything Kristen Stewart’s been wearing. She must have an army of people accompanying her with trunks of clothes.
The movie opens in theaters Nov. 20, 2009.

Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner storm Paris and London for ‘New Moon’ fan events
November 11, 2009 by Jane Boursaw
Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner and director Chris Weitz were in London today, promoting “The Twilight Saga: New Moon” at Battersea Evolution.
The crew has been jetting here, there and everywhere promoting the movie, and flew from Los Angeles to Paris on Monday, amidst throngs of screaming fans. As for whether it bothers him, Pattinson told one reporter:
“It’s when I’m in my real life, when I’m not working, when there’s less security around me, that it’s worrying,” he said. “When some girl shows up on my doorstep … In a way, it’s funny because it’s completely new to …read more

November 7, 2009 by Jane Boursaw
Now not only do bands tour, but casts of movies tour, too. With bands! The cast of “The Twilight Saga: New Moon,” is currently touring locations across the country on their Hot Topic tour, along with bands featured in the movie. I’ve got some photos of their first appearance at Hollywood and Highland in Los Angeles yesterday.
This cast is going to be so happy when the movie comes out on Nov. 20! They already look exhausted, and I’m sure they’ll be completely fried out by the end of the tour.

The Twilight Saga: New Moon: Volturi Primer (watch a featurette)
November 5, 2009 by Jane Boursaw
Here’s a new featurette for The Twilight Saga: New Moon,” in theaters Nov. 20, 2009 (check out our Twilight Groupie blog!). For those who haven’t read the books by Stephenie Meyer, it tells a little more about the mysterious Volturi.
They’re the oldest coven in the “Twilight” universe, and they’re the closest thing the vampires have to royalty. They also enforce the law and keep things in order. A few more bites:
Aro (Michael Sheen) is the most dangerous and deadly vampire.
Marcus (Christopher Heyerdahl) can sniff out treason.
Caius (Jamie Campbell Bower) is perpetually angry.
Aro, Marcus and Caius are in charge, with Jane …read more
New clip from New Moon – Bella’s birthday (things don’t go well)
November 1, 2009 by Jane Boursaw
A new clip from “The Twilight Saga: New Moon” has been posted on MTV (and featured on their movie special, “Ulalume: Howling at New Moon”). The scene happens near the beginning of the movie and features the Cullen clan gathered for Bella’s birthday.
Alice (Ashley Greene) is the organizer of the event and the peacekeeper as she tries to smooth over Rosalie’s iciness towards Edward’s human girlfriend. Even so, things don’t go well and turn deadly when Bella cuts her finger, which gets Jasper’s (Jackson Rathbone) hunger up big-time.
The movie hits theaters Nov. 20, 2009; check out all of Film Gecko’s …read more
