Gecko Rating:
I was a little dismayed when I saw that Roger Ebert had given “The Twilight Saga: New Moon” only one star, but I can sort of see where he’s coming from. In terms of overall production, “New Moon” might not be the best movie ever made, but it’s romantic, continues the story beautifully from the first movie (“Twilight”), and sets things up nicely for the third film, …read more
New Moon’s Volturi dish about the movie
November 14, 2009 by Jane Boursaw
The Volturi clan has a few things to say about what it was like to film “The Twilight Saga: New Moon.” Hollywood Dailies caught up with Michael Sheen, Jaime Campbell Bower, Dakota Fanning, and Cameron Bright to hear what they had to say about their vampire inspirations and wearing those red contacts.
And apparently, Dakota Fanning and Kristen Stewart are BFFs, having filmed “New Moon,” “The Runaways,” and “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse” together back to back.
“New Moon” hits theaters next Friday, Nov. 20, 2009.

Here’s a new featurette for The Twilight Saga: New Moon,” in theaters Nov. 20, 2009 (check out our Twilight Groupie blog!). For those who haven’t read the books by Stephenie Meyer, it tells a little more about the mysterious Volturi.

Caius (Jamie Campbell Bower) is perpetually angry.
Aro, Marcus and Caius are in charge, with Jane …read more
Michael Sheen: It was huge fun doing New Moon
September 23, 2009 by Jane Boursaw
Actor Michael Sheen plays Aro in "The Twilight Saga: New Moon," coming out Nov. 20, 2009. He says that it was huge fun doing the movie, the cast is young and gorgeous, and people haven’t started swarming him on the streets – not yet anyway. He should probably be prepared, though, once the movie comes out. Those ancient vampires drive the teens a little crazy.
You can also catch him in several upcoming movies, including “Alice in Wonderland” (he plays The White Rabbit) and “Tron Legacy.”

The full trailer for “The Twilight Saga: New Moon,” aired during the Video Music Awards on MTV last night. It was introduced by Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner and Robert Pattinson, and they all seemed a little awkward to be onstage introducing the video. You’d think they’d be used to the hype by now, but maybe not. Anyway, here’s the trailer. The movie hits theaters Nov. 20, 2009. As you can tell, it sways towards the Team Taylor side of things.
