Clash of the Titans teaser trailer with Sam Worthington, Ralph Fiennes
November 10, 2009 by Jane Boursaw
Warner Bros. Pictures has released a teaser trailer for director Louis Leterrier’s “Clash of the Titans,” opening in theaters March 26, 2010. As I read that description below, all I can think is how much fun it must be for the guys working on this movie, both in front of the camera and behind the scenes. It looks like a blast!
If you know your mythology, you’re ahead of the game on this one. Sam Worthington plays Perseus; born of a god but raised as a man, he’s helpless to save his family from Hades (Ralph Fiennes), a vengeful god …read more
Jessica Biel, Sharlto Copley join A-Team remake
September 16, 2009 by Jane Boursaw
Most people had probably never heard of Sharlto Copley until “District 9” became a smash hit. But now the 35-year-old actor has joined the cast of “The A-Team” remake as the goofy oddball H.M. “Howling Mad” Murdoch.
Jessica Biel (pictured) will portray an ex-flame of Faceman’s, and Patrick Wilson of “Watchmen” will play a CIA operative. Also in the cast: Liam Neeson (Col. John “Hannibal” Smith), Bradley Cooper (Lt. Templeton “Face” Peck), and Quinton “Rampage” Jackson (B.A. Baracas).
While the premise of director Joe Carnahan’s “A-Team” will still center on four war vets wrongly convicted of a crime they …read more
Liam Neeson hits red carpet for Five Minutes of Heaven
August 12, 2009 by Jane Boursaw
It can’t be easy getting back into the public eye after losing someone. But actor Liam Neeson made his first public appearance since the death of his wife, Natasha Richardson. He hit the red carpet for the premiere of his new film, "Five Minutes of Heaven," in which he co-stars with James Nesbitt and Anamaria Marinca.
Directed by Oliver Hirschbiegel, it tells the story of a meeting between former UVF (Ulster Volunteer Force, a loyalist paramilitary group in Northern Ireland) Alistair Little (Neeson) and Joe Griffen (Nesbitt). The meeting takes place 25 years after Little killed Griffen’s brother.

The A-Team moves forward with Liam Neeson, Bradley Cooper
June 10, 2009 by Jane Boursaw
Must every cheesy 1980s show be made into a movie? Apparently, so. Now “The A-Team” is jumping on the feature film bandwagon. The story will follow the original plot about a group of framed, on-the-run war vets who pull capers while evading the military.
Bradley Cooper has been rumored for a while to play Lt. Templeton "Faceman" Peck, originally played by Dirk Benedict in the NBC series helmed by Stephen J. Cannell.
Liam Neeson is in talks to take on the role of Col. John “Hannibal” Smith, played by George Peppard in the TV series. The roles of "Howling Mad" …read more
Natasha Richardson’s Final Hours – VIDEO
March 18, 2009 by Jane Boursaw
I posted that Natasha Richardson died today of injuries sustained during a skiing accident. Here’s a bit more from CelebTV.com about the actress’ final hours, and the friends and family who surrounded her. It’s all very sad, and I’ll definitely be thinking about her husband Liam Neeson and their two boys in the days to come.

"Taken" Preview & Trailer
January 3, 2009 by Jane Boursaw
"Taken" hits theaters Jan. 30, 2009, and the trailer looks pretty scary. It’s got screenwriter Luc Besson ("Transporter 3") and director Pierre Morel (cinematographer on "Unleashed" and "War") at the helm, so you’ve gotta believe it’ll hit the scary factor pretty well. It tells the story of a former government operative (Liam Neeson) who comes out of retirement and uses his extensive training to rescue his estranged daughter (Maggie Grace) from a slave trade operation. "Taken" is rated PG-13 for intense sequences of violence, disturbing thematic material, sexual content, some drug references and language. [Official site]
