Tops at the box office this weekend was "Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian." Ghosts of Girlfriends Past – Preview & Trailer
April 29, 2009 by Jane Boursaw
Matthew McConaughey continues to be one of my favorite romantic comedy stars, and his real-life girlfriend says he (and their new baby) is such a flirt, so I guess the genre is right up his alley.
In "Ghosts of Girlfriends Past," McConaughey plays Connor Mead, a confirmed bachelor and celeb photographer who has no qualms about breaking up with several women on a conference call. While at his younger brother’s wedding, Connor nearly single-handedly ruins the wedding, and gets haunted by not only his hard-partying uncle (Michael Douglas), but also the ghosts of his past, present and future girlfriends. Matthew McConaughey in for The Lincoln Lawyer
March 29, 2009 by Jane Boursaw
Matthew McConaughey is taking a break from romantic comedies like “Fool’s Gold” and the upcoming “Ghosts of Girlfriends Past” (in theaters May 1, 2009) to delve into a juicy legal thriller.

While I like McConaughey in the romantic comedies – he’s pretty cute, after all – I also appreciate his dramas like “We Are Marshall” and “A Time to …read more
