After a whirlwind press tour for "Public Enemies" and the upcoming "Alice in Wonderland," could Johnny Depp be looking at some time off? Although he has numerous film projects in the works, none of them are in a go-mode at this writing. A few that are in the works:
"The Incredible Mr. Limpet" – Producers are interested in Depp for the title role of Kevin Lima’s remake, but he hasn’t signed on and production won’t begin until next year.

Well, Rob Pattinson may be the hot vampire at the moment, but some of us know that Barnabas Collins made vampires trendy.
A “Dark Shadows” film is in the works, and Collider.com is reporting that director Tim Burton and Johnny Depp are making the film next summer. It’ll be Burton’s next project after Alice in Wonderland.
Written by John August, the film is based on the cult ’60s TV show created by Dan Curtis. Johnny Depp will play Barnabas Collins, the vampire patriarch of the series played by Jonathan Frid in the TV series. Check out Jonathan’s official Web site. …read more
