The crew has been jetting here, there and everywhere promoting the movie, and flew from Los Angeles to Paris on Monday, amidst throngs of screaming fans. As for whether it bothers him, Pattinson told one reporter:

“It’s when I’m in my real life, when I’m not working, when there’s less security around me, that it’s worrying,” he said. “When some girl shows up on my doorstep … In a way, it’s funny because it’s completely new to me. Growing up, that wasn’t me. I wasn’t someone who had a girlfriend.”

It appears he DOES have a girlfriend now, co-star Kristen Stewart, who plays Bella Swan in the movie. According to one report, the pair were the last ones to leave the terminal to board the plane. “Out on the tarmac, he took her hand, like young lovers. They stopped and looked at each other, their plane, the scene. They seemed very calm, in love. They continued holding hands boarding the plane.” Awww, that’s sweet.

“Cirque Du Freak: The Vampire’s Assistant” is a fantasy-adventure about a teenager who unknowingly breaks a 200-year-old truce between two warring factions of vampires. Darren (Chris Massoglia) was like most 16-year-old kids in his suburban neighborhood. He hung out with his best friend Steve (Josh Hutcherson), got decent grades and usually stayed out of trouble. But when he and his buddy stumble upon a traveling freak show, things change drastically for Darren. In fact, a vampire named Larten Crepsley (John C. Reilly) turns him into something, well, bloodthirsty.

The newly undead Darren joins the Cirque Du Freak, a touring sideshow filled with monstrous creatures from a snakeboy and a wolfman to a bearded lady (Salma Hayek) and a gigantic barker (Ken Watanabe). Darren also becomes the pawn between the vampires and their deadlier counterparts.

Directed by Paul Weitz (whose brother Chris is directing “The Twilight Saga: New Moon”), “Cirque Du Freak: The Vampire’s Assistant” is rated PG-13 for sequences of intense supernatural violence and action, disturbing images, thematic elements and some language. So I guess we can start calling the Weitz brothers the Vampire Dudes. Check out the trailer and see what you think.

In addition to exclusive on-set photos, interviews, and previews of the second installment of the “Twilight” series, the special edition also includes an exclusive shot of “Eclipse,” the third chapter (pictured, right).  

“Twilight” earned nearly $200 million last year, and “New Moon” will continue the story of vampire Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson), Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart), and werewolf Jacob Black (Taylor Lautner).

‘Twilight’ is about first love; ‘New Moon’ is about heartbreak,” says director Chris Weitz. “That requires the actors to go to some very dark places.”

For Taylor Lautner, “New Moon” represents a big responsibility. “I get nervous trying to represent Team Jacob in the right way. This guy is some pretty good competition,” he says, referring to Pattinson’s Edward. “The fans would love anybody who played Jacob. I’m just lucky to be the one who got the chance.”

The special collector’s edition also delves into the chemistry between Kristen and Robert in both their professional and personal lives. It’s no secret that the couple has been letting the sparks fly both on and off-screen.

Says Pattinson, “When I read ‘Twilight,’ and there are these moony descriptions of Edward as a godlike figure, I thought there was no way I could play him. But when I got in the room with Kristen, there was a certain chemistry. She’s basically the reason I did the movie.”

Catherine Hardwicke, director of “Twilight,” recalls one scene when things got a little steamy and Pattinson ended up falling off the bed. And co-star Ashley Green, who plays Alice Cullen, says their off-screen romance is the real deal. “They’re genuine, and they’re very talented. It’s like a secret potion that you can’t really pinpoint, but they both have it.”

The cast is already filming “Eclipse,” with the fourth installment, “Breaking Dawn,” on tap for the near future. “We’re all crossing our fingers, and we all want to finish the series,” says Kellen Lutz, who plays vampire Emmett Cullen. “And we want Stephenie Meyer to write more books if she could!”

Specifically, the director said he wanted to keep the second film adapted from Stephenie Meyer’s books from Bella’s (Kristen Stewart) perspective, so it would be in line with the book. So when Alice has a vision of Edward about to commit suicide, she conveys that to Bella who imagines seeing it.

Do you think “The Twilight Saga: New Moon” will live up to your expectations?

The story brings the wolf pack front and center, and even takes us to the exotic locale of Italy. Edward (Rob Pattinson) leaves, Bella (Kristen Stewart) goes into a deep depression, and Jacob (Taylor Lautner) steps up.

I assume they’re talking about "New Moon" and possibly "Eclipse" and "Breaking Dawn," but they don’t specify in the ad. Anyone know anything about this site, or whether they’re legit?

This particular ad says: "No experience is needed. All looks and types wanted. Make $150-$300 per day."

• Bella and Edward about to kiss. "Rob was the first guy to say to me, ‘You know, you don’t really need to have too much of me in this film,’" notes director Chris Weitz. "I don’t want him too present, so his apparition will be a subtle, flitting effect — clearly a reflection of Bella’s will and desire to see him.”

Nikki Reed, who plays Rosalie Hale in both "Twilight" and "New Moon," says things got a little dicey for the characters while filming the first movie.

"We all had hours of hair and makeup in the morning, and then when we showed up on set, it was raining. And because we are vampires, we can’t shoot in the sun! So, we were always shooting when it was cloudy, and then there was hail, and the makeup was pouring off. It was an experimental process — now, I think, we are more prepared."

Reed said the characters will grow in "New Moon," not only by furthering the storyline, but by their looks, too. "I think we are always striving to better ourselves. And the fact that we are all vampires in the first place … of course we are going to look unnatural. [But in the first film], all of us looked unnatural."

The actress said she’ll be trying out wigs rather than constantly dying her hair. "It took 36 hours initially to make me blond, and every other day, I was bleaching my head and my skin. This time around, we are testing out different wigs and stuff."
