Channing Tatum, Sienna Miller at the G.I. Joe premiere

Whenever I see the title “G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra,” all I can think about is my brother’s G.I. Joe dolls from when I was a kid. Yes, they were dolls, and I can tell you, they were not very ferocious. I’m going to have to see the movie to get those doll images out of my head.

Fighting – Preview & Trailer

Fighting – Preview & Trailer

Channing Tatum is super hot right now. He’s got three big movies coming out: “Fighting” (in theaters tomorrow), “Public Enemies” (July 1, 2009), and “G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra” (Aug. 7, 2009).
In “Fighting,” Tatum plays a young counterfeiter in New York City who’s introduced to underground street fighting by a scam artist (Terrence Howard). Directed by Dito Montiel, it’s rated PG-13 for intense fight sequences, a sex scene and brief strong language.
Honestly, I think Tatum (and his muscles) are the big draw here. The plot isn’t really doing it for me.

Channing Tatum: “I was dying to play Gambit”

Channing Tatum: “I was dying to play Gambit”

It’s a high-class problem when you’ve got so many movies going that you can’t fit another one into the schedule.
Such was the case for Channing Tatum, who says he’s seriously bummed that he didn’t get to play Gambit in the upcoming “X-Men Origins: Wolverine,” due to scheduling conflicts. Instead, the part went to Taylor Kitsch, whom I’m sure will do a fantastic job in the role.
Tatum will be in theaters this summer in “Fighting,” “Public Enemies,” and “G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra.” But the comic-book fan says Gambit has always been near and dear to his …read more

Public Enemies – Full-Length Trailer

“Public Enemies” made my list of 2009 movies I’m looking forward to, and the first trailer is fantastic. Directed by Michael Mann and starring Johnny Depp, Christian Bale, Billy Crudup, Marion Cotillard, and Channing Tatum, this movie can’t be anything less than awesome (I hope!).
It’s all about the Feds trying to take down notorious gangsters John Dillinger, Baby Face Nelson and Pretty Boy Floyd during the gritty crime wave of the 1930s. Check out the 30-Second Clip, and visit the UNOfficial Site.

Public Enemies – 30-Second Clip!

One of the movies I’m most looking forward to this year is “Public Enemies,” starring a killer cast of Johnny Depp, Christian Bale, Billy Crudup, Marion Cotillard, and the list goes on.
It follows the notorious gangsters John Dillinger (Depp), Baby Face Nelson (Stephen Graham) and Pretty Boy Floyd (Channing Tatum), and the feds who try to take them down during the 1930s.
I’m a huge fan of Michael Mann (”Crime Story” is one of my all-time favorite TV shows), so to say I’m excited about this movie is an understatement. It arrives in theaters July 1, 2009.
