Exclusive Interview: Powers Boothe talks Tombstone, Sin City 2

He’s played a President on “24” and a senator on “Sin City.” He’s voiced the part of Lex Luthor and knocked us out as Curly Bill in “Tombstone.” In fact, Powers Boothe seems like he’s been around forever, but most of his roles have been after 1980 (not counting an uncredited role of a Bolivian bandito in 1969’s “Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid”).
I recently caught up with Powers at his home in California’s Hidden Hills. Read on for his thoughts on the possibility of “Sin City 2,” the secret to a long marriage in Hollywood, and being inducted …read more

Betty White talks sluts on Chelsea Lately

I LOVE Betty White! I just saw “The Proposal” today, and that movie would have been just another romantic comedy without Betty. On Chelsea Lately this week, she talked sluts, boobs, and Golden Retrievers.

Nicolas Cage talks Knowing, religion – VIDEO

I’ve been posting Paul Byrne’s interviews with Movies.ie for a while now, and if you haven’t figured it out yet, I’m a big fan. I’m convinced that Paul must take his interviewees through some yoga moves first, because they always seem so thoughtful and meditative.
Nicolas Cage is usually pretty thoughtful in interviews anyway, and he and Paul sat down and discussed his new movie "Knowing," religion, changing his last name, and everything in between.

Brad Pitt Puts Foot in Mouth

Brad Pitt Puts Foot in Mouth

Just when I think Brad Pitt is cool again, he says something that makes me roll my eyes and make me want to poke his eyes out.
In a recent L.A. Times profile talking up his new movie “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button,” Brad says of his love for Angelina Jolie:
“It’s a tragedy in the sense that any love involves loss, and that’s the risk you take. And the greater the love, the greater the loss. I certainly feel that now with the woman I’m with, and the children that I have. But whatever the …read more

Kate Winslet and Leo DiCaprio on The Today Show – VIDEO

I’ve been enjoying the interviews with Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet, plugging their new movie “Revolutionary Road” here there and everywhere.
They recently talked with Matt Lauer on “The Today Show,” and it’s fun to see such good friends working on a movie together again. Winslet has mentioned that they’re like brother and sister, and that certainly seems to be true here. Leo compares her detailed script notes to forensic science, and she praises him for being “less puny” than he used to be. They’re sweet together!
Check out the clip below, and watch the “Revolutionary Road” trailer here.
