Kate Hudson turns 30, parties without Owen Wilson
April 20, 2009 by Jane Boursaw
Can Kate Hudson be 30 already? Man, I’m feeling old, considering that I remember when her mom Goldie Hawn was on Laugh-In.
Kate partied at Goldie and Kurt Russell’s house, but Owen Wilson was nowhere in site. Maybe they’re “off-again”? Justin Timberlake was there (sans Jessica Biel), and Matthew McConaughey showed up solo, too. Up next for Hudson: “Big Eyes” and “Nine.”
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie – Are the rumors of fighting true? - VIDEO
April 1, 2009 by Jane Boursaw
For my shameless celebrity gossip story of the day, I’m putting the spotlight on mega-stars Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. It’s rumored that they’re fighting, sharing separate beds, and heading for splitsville. Or, depending on the source, they’re talking marriage and thinking about adopting another child.
One of my questions is, who’s the "inside source" that’s telling the separate bedrooms story? I’m convinced it must be Maddox tipping off the press. Anyway, what do you think? Think the rumors are true? And if so, which ones?!

Emma Thompson’s Struggle with Depression
January 3, 2009 by Jane Boursaw
Sometimes you get the feeling that celebrities lead charmed lives where nothing ever goes wrong (well, ok, I get that feeling sometimes). But of course, they’re people just like the rest of us and struggle with similar problems. British actress Emma Thompson, currently on movie screens in "Last Chance Harvey," has battled depression for years, but says she’s found a way to deal with it.
The Oscar-winner first experienced the illness during a stint on the London stage in her 20s, and says it was one of the darkest times of her life.
"I’m prone to depression and to all sorts of mental illnesses," she said in a WENN news story. "I did a musical in the West End, and I became clinically depressed, even though I was being paid to be cheerful. I had no life at all. I lived like a nun. I didn’t drink. I didn’t have sex. I was 24, for crying out loud. No wonder I was depressed."

Daniel Craig: Hollywood not immune to economic woes
January 2, 2009 by Jane Boursaw
Daniel Craig says he’s worried about the economic crisis as much as the next guy, and that even Hollywood stars aren’t immune to its effects.
The "Quantum of Solace" actor recently forked over $5.8 million for an apartment in Regent’s Park, London. Yeah, he’s really hurting, isn’t he?
Still, Craig believes the film industry will soon face a money shortage as a result of the global financial problems. "Everybody’s in trouble," he says. "There’s going to be a cash shortage soon, because the whole point is that the movie industry, like every industry, is built upon how much money they can borrow. So if people stop sending them money, it’s going to dry up."
He adds, "I don’t know what the answer is. I know there’s going to be a lot of job losses, and it’s going to be really tricky."
I’m just not sure what to say about this. Except that I wish I was worrying about losing million-dollar jobs.
Catch Daniel Craig in the upcoming "Defiance," in theaters Jan. 16, 2009.

January 1, 2009 by Jane Boursaw
Resolve to stop biting your nails? So does Britney Spears! Turns out the stars might have a few resolutions just like ours. Well, except for Cameron Diaz, who resolves to … start wearing a bra? Ok, then. Check out the clip to see a few New Year’s Resolutions of the stars.
Megan Fox Blows a Kiss at the Chateau Marmont
November 20, 2008 by Jane Boursaw
For my shameless paparazzi video of the day, I’ve got the gorgeous Megan Fox, blowing a kiss at the GQ Party at the Chateau Marmont in Hollywood. You can catch Megan in “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen,” in theaters June 26, 2009. Didn’t she say something recently about wanting to do a movie naked? I guess if you look as good as her…!
Lunch with Antonio Banderas and Melanie Griffith - VIDEO
November 14, 2008 by Jane Boursaw
Here’s my shameless paparazzi video of the day: Antonio Banderas and Melanie Griffith out to lunch with their daughter. You hardly ever see these two together. Are they still “together”? I hope so, because they’re really cute as a couple (well, individually, too!). Long-time fan of Melanie Griffith here.
Jen Aniston Spills to Oprah about Angelina
November 12, 2008 by Jane Boursaw
I’ve had girl-crushes on both Jennifer Aniston and Angelina Jolie at various times, so it’s always fun to hear them talk about each other.
Jen dished to Oprah today (the show airs tomorrow, Nov. 13), about her upcoming Vogue story, on newsstands Nov. 18. She’s quoted as saying, “That stuff about how she couldn’t wait to get to work [on "Mr. and Mrs. Smith"] every day? That was really uncool.”
Oprah asked her why she said that (gee, I don’t know, Oprah, maybe because it WAS uncool?!), and Jen told her, “He asked me a question, and I basically just answered it as honestly as I could.”

Lindsay Lohan at Pure in Las Vegas
November 8, 2008 by Jane Boursaw
I wish Lindsay Lohan would go back to doing more movies. For all her diva behavior, I really enjoy her on the big screen. And it’s been a while since she’s been there; she was last seen in “George Rule” and “I Know Who Killed Me” in 2007. But at least she’s got a few movies coming up, including “Labor Pains” in 2009 and “Dare to Love Me” in 2010.
The above photo was taken last night, as she arrived at Pure Nightclub in Vegas with her gal-pal Samantha Ronson. They both hurried through the red carpet, barely cracking a smile as they raced into the club. Hmmm, wonder how things are going with their girlmance?
