Jessica Biel, Sharlto Copley join A-Team remake

Most people had probably never heard of Sharlto Copley until “District 9” became a smash hit. But now the 35-year-old actor has joined the cast of “The A-Team” remake as the goofy oddball H.M. “Howling Mad” Murdoch.
Jessica Biel (pictured) will portray an ex-flame of Faceman’s, and Patrick Wilson of “Watchmen” will play a CIA operative. Also in the cast: Liam Neeson (Col. John “Hannibal” Smith), Bradley Cooper (Lt. Templeton “Face” Peck), and Quinton “Rampage” Jackson (B.A. Baracas).
While the premise of director Joe Carnahan’s “A-Team” will still center on four war vets wrongly convicted of a crime they …read more

Review: All About Steve (Sandra Bullock makes a great nerd)

Movie: All About Steve * Trailer * Official Site
In Theaters: Sept. 4, 2009

Runtime: 98 minutes
Directed by: Phil Traill

MPAA Rating: PG-13 for sexual content including innuendos
Gecko Rating:

Sometimes it’s nice when a movie doesn’t fit neatly into a particular category. But … sometimes movies like that need a little more focus.
“All About Steve” is a lot of different things – a quirky comedy, a drama, an action-adventure, a sex romp, and a little bit of a horror movie. Most of all, it’s a character study about someone who doesn’t fit neatly into society. in that way, it’s like …read more

Sandra Bullock and Bradley Cooper talk up All About Steve

I’m just heading out to see “All About Steve,” the romantic comedy starring Sandra Bullock, Bradley Cooper, and Thomas Haden Church. I’ll report back later with a review – I hope it’s good!
In the meantime, here’s a little video from ReelzChannel with the stars talking up the movie.

All About Steve is all about the red carpet premiere

All About Steve is all about the red carpet premiere

You can tell that people have this abiding love for Sandra Bullock, and that she can take it as well as dish it out. She just seems like she’d be a lot of fun, whether you’re working on a film or having a beer with her. And yeah, she definitely seems like a beer drinker rather than a frou-frou alcoholic beverage drinker.
Here, Bradley Cooper, her co-star in the upcoming “All About Steve,” talks about how tyrannical she is to work with, while Sandra explains that it’s impossible to explain the movie in 10 seconds. Makes sense to me. Go …read more

Jennifer Garner and Ashton Kutcher film scenes for Valentine’s Day

You know if it’s a Garry Marshall film, it’s bound to be good. Or at least romantic and funny. And hopefully good, too. “Valentine’s Day” has a killer cast – including Taylor Lautner, Bradley Cooper, Anne Hathaway, Jessica Alba, Jessica Biel, Julia Roberts, Emma Roberts, Topher Grace, Jamie Foxx, Patrick Dempsey, Queen Latifah, and Eric Dane.
Is that everyone in Hollywood? Not quite! Don’t forget Hector Elizondo, who has a standing role in every Garry Marshall movie.
Here’s a couple of images of Jennifer Garner and Ashton Kutcher filming separate scenes for the movie at the Los Angeles International Airport. …read more

The Hangover Review – Smart and Funny

Movie: The Hangover * Official Site
In Theaters: June 5, 2009

Runtime: 100 minutes
Directed by: Todd Phillips

MPAA Rating: R for pervasive language, sexual content including nudity, and some drug material
Gecko Rating:

Sometimes a movie comes along that you think will be crude and stupid, and it turns out to be smart and funny. That’s "The Hangover." At first glance, it’s a crude buddy movie with lots of sex and drugs. Ok, it’s all that, but look a little further and you’ve got a smart, funny film with great writing and real characters, not movie cliches.
Basically, the story is about …read more

Jennifer Aniston and Bradley Cooper dating again!

I’ve seen Bradley Cooper in a number of projects, including “He’s Just Not That Into You,” but I really fell in love with him in “The Hangover.” It’s a smart, funny movie about guys on a bender in Vegas. It’s a lot smarter than it sounds!
Apparently, Jennifer Aniston is feeling the vibe, too, because CelebTV.com is reporting that they’re dating again. The two were spotted on a romantic dinner date at Il Cantinori in New York City. May I just say that these two would make beautiful babies? Thank you.

The A-Team moves forward with Liam Neeson, Bradley Cooper

Must every cheesy 1980s show be made into a movie? Apparently, so. Now “The A-Team” is jumping on the feature film bandwagon. The story will follow the original plot about a group of framed, on-the-run war vets who pull capers while evading the military.
Bradley Cooper has been rumored for a while to play Lt. Templeton "Faceman" Peck, originally played by Dirk Benedict in the NBC series helmed by Stephen J. Cannell.
Liam Neeson is in talks to take on the role of Col. John “Hannibal” Smith, played by George Peppard in the TV series. The roles of "Howling Mad" …read more
