I’m really excited that Adam Lambert will be singing a song for the movie “2012.” It’s called “Time For Miracles,” and will be a beautiful addition to the film. I was a big fan of his when he was on “American Idol” and have been waiting to see what he does next. His version of “Mad World” is one of my all-time favorite songs.

Here’s a nice long clip from director Roland Emmerich’s “2012,” set for a Nov. 13, 2009 release. All the trailers have looked pretty darn intense, so intense that you almost have to laugh at the craziness of it all. I’m not really a disaster movie kind of girl, but after seeing the trailers and clip below, I’m going to have to check this one out.

Director Roland Emmerich’s “2012” is set for a Nov. 13, 2009 release, and the trailer below looks pretty intense. The disaster movie to end all disaster movies.
The cast is impressive, too: John Cusack, Thandie Newton, Woody Harrelson, Amanda Pete, Danny Glover, and George Segal, to name a few. The story centers on a global cataclysm that brings an end to the world as we know it, and the heroic struggle of the survivors left behind. See what you think of the trailer:

Here’s a look at what’s on tap from Sony Pictures for 2009. Some great films!
I’m especially looking forward to "The Pink Panther 2," "The Ugly Truth," "Underworld: Rise of the Lycans," and "Angels & Demons." And I’m REALLY curious about "Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs," because that was one of my kids’ favorite books.
