In honor of Stephen Colbert’s new DVD releasing today we’re giving away some shirts and posters.
To win comment on this post why you think or do not think Stephen Colbert should run for President of the United States. The winners will be chosen through random draw on November 10th. One entry per IP address.

Colbert should run because my teenager, for the first time in his life, became interested in politics because he loves Colbert’s show. And anything that can get a 16 year old thinking about the presidency gets my vote, too!
I think Stephen should run for president because he provides much-needed satire and comic relief during the campaign season. Often, I just wish someone would point out the absurdity of the entire process, that ostensibly serious men are debating “flip flops” and image and a bunch of symbolic nonsense that means nothing to ordinary people. Colbert gives the candidates, and the media, the mockery they so richly deserve.
Stephen Colbert should run because he is the only man who can lead America… Unfortunate, eh?
Why not? After all, this is a country where The Terminator qualifies for governor. Colbert seems smarter than a body-builder and he knows both current events and politics well enough to make fun of them; why not give him a chance?
BTW – Does anyone else think Ariel sounds Canadian? Eh?
I’ll play devil’s advocate here so to speak! I have to say that although Stephen is quite entertaining, i don’t totally understand if he’s a serious candidate.
If he is serious, then he should run, as this is what makes the country great.
I think he should run because he would take care of the bear problem… They are a major threat
