"Sex and the City" Sequel? Maybe!
October 2, 2008 by Jane Boursaw
Fans of the fabulous Sex and the City foursome can rejoice in some good news about a sequel. While nothing is set in stone (or maybe diamonds) yet, writer-director Michael Patrick King says it’s a possibility.
“When I finished, I didn’t have a thought in my head about a sequel,” he told Entertainment Weekly. But he changed his mind after the movie earned $153 million domestically and was screened worldwide. “It doesn’t feel done to me at all. It feels like it generated a whole new burst of enthusiasm for these characters.”
Not a sure bet, but still something! King hints at a possible summer 2010 release date.
