Robert Downey, Jr. Talks "Tropic Thunder" – VIDEO

September 15, 2008 by Jane Boursaw

Robert Downey, Jr. talked to Tony Shepherd about his role in the summer hit, Tropic Thunder. Wow, he looks really burned out, doesn’t he? I can imagine it would get really tiring talking about the same movie day after day. Plus, with Iron Man in the spring and The Soloist coming up Nov. 21, Downey, Jr. has had a pretty busy year.

I dig Robert Downey Jr., and Ben Stiller too. But the funniest part of that movie, by FAR is Tom Cruise dancing to Low. Why isn’t that on YouTube yet? If that had been the trailer, I would have gone on opening night.

  2. Betsy says:

I loved the movie, although some trailer scenes weren’t even in the film.

I’m a big big fan of Robert Downey Jr. He’s one of the finest actors around.

Jane — you said he looks tired. sure does. The interviewer says, thanks for the interview and Robert says it was a pleasure but looks depressed as he says it. LOL

Funny movie…and it’s amazing that you never actually ’see’ Robert Downey Jr.
