Rachel McAdams Signs for "Sherlock Holmes"…or not…

Rachel McAdams is the latest to sign for Warner Bros.’ Sherlock Holmes, scheduled for a 2010 release date, with filming to start Oct. 3, 2008. Guy Ritchie is directing the movie, with stars Robert Downey, Jr. and Jude Law holding down the male leads.

Hmmm, interesting. AccessHollywood.com broke the news today, but McAdams flat-out denied it yesterday at a press junket for The Lucky Ones, in theaters Sept. 26, 2008.

I guess the jury’s still out on this one, but I do think she’d be great on screen with those guys. Did you see her in The Family Stone? She was a highlight of that movie.
