Rachel Getting Married really hasn’t gotten much publicity, but it looks like a great film. I always love seeing anything Anne Hathaway does. She looks emo-ish in the pic, doesn’t she? A little Toni Collette-ish…

Hathaway plays Kym, a young woman who’s been in and out of rehab for the past 10 years. She brings a long history of personal crisis and family drama as she returns to the Buchman family home for the wedding of her sister, Rachel (Rosemarie Dewitt).

Friends and family have gathered for an idyllic weekend of food, fun and music, but Kym’s darkly comic one-liners (yep, Hathaway knows how to deliver those) and knack for bombshell drama ups the tension factor.

Jonathan Demme directs the film, scheduled for an Oct. 3, 2008 release. Rated R for language and brief sexuality. Check out the poster…
