Pulitzer Prize Winner to Pen "Spider-Man 4"

November 1, 2008 by Jane Boursaw

spidermanposter Well, whoever said that superhero movies and Pulitzer Prize winners don’t mix? David Lindsay-abaire is putting that myth to rest!

The man behind the hit show “Rabbit Hole,” is in talks to write the screenplay for Spider-Man 4.

And he’s not the first Pulitzer winner to be attached to a superhero franchise. “Spider-Man 2″ was co-written by Michael Chabon, who claimed the honor in 2001.

Director Sam Raimi and star Tobey Maguire have both signed on for the fourth Spider-Man film, set to hit theaters in May 2011.
