"New Moon" to Start Filming in March

We’ve been talking about casting news and rumors for “New Moon” over on this post. Come join in the discussion! That’s the much-anticipated sequel to “Twilight,” scheduled for a 2010 release date.
In an interview with Ryan Seacrest, star Kristen Stewart (pictured) confirmed that shooting for “New Moon” will begin in March.
She said, “A lot of the book takes place in Italy, and I think we’re going to get to go to Italy, which is so cool. For a while there, they were like, Oh, we don’t know if we have the money, but now I think we may have the money!”

I would also like to say that on alot of websites i have witnessed alot of bitchyness towards alot of fans over liking rob and wanting to meet him and stuff orwanting to be in the film
I don’t understand why some people have to be sooooo horrible people are only wishing out loud they are allowed to dream so just let them get on with if you have a dream you should follow it no matter what anyone else says
I have meet alot of the famous people i have wanted to meet due to perservirance(not sure thats spelt right but ya no wot i mean)

Only the end of new moon will be filmed in Italy not most of it as you would no if you read the book…
THANK YOU FLICK!!! I am one of those people heading to Vancouver to (hopefully) run into the cast!! It has actually always been my dream to see a movie set and filming happening. I would actually love to work on a film set one day. Now I don’t plan on stalking them or anything, I’m just hoping to come across the set. If I do happen on any of them I am sure to be very mature about it. I know they are normal people and would appreciate respect of there craft than some fangirl screaming in there face. Anyway thanks for that! And please post if anyone finds out locations!! That would be AWESOME!!

I was thinking of going to Vancouver but would be traveling on ma own was going at the beggining of MAY pos when are u going?
otherwise i’llbe in toronto ha but if i get some locations im going to vancouver not toscream at them but to talk to them and thank them for doing such a good job at bringing the book to life!!
All I know is that they must be filming in Vancouver around the 5th of May cause of the competitons ive seen online they have to be able to travel to vancouver on the 5th of may thats all ive got
oh and that they maybe using one of the tech colleges but no idea if thats true also one of the forrests there too but its too big an area to see if thats true hope this may help if you’ve got any other info i would appriciate it
i read all the books and saw the movie. i realy hope they make some improvments to match the book better thios time though. it was allright but i think bella has to tone down her acting and facial expressions and be more relaxed. i also think edward needs to be more calm and collected like he is in the book and not so jumpy and over emotioned. i hope with more money now they can improve the acting. also i hope the filming is better now too, in twilight a couple scenes didnt add up, like when she was in the hospital and her breathing deal in her nose was not in the same spot every time the camera jumped to a diff angle. you could tell it wasnt the same take. well hopefully this one impresses me more..

im just wondering if you’ve read Midnight Sun the unfinished book by Stephanie Meyer from Edwards perspective?
cause I think you might understand how Robert Pattinson is playing Edward in the film theres alot going on behind those eyes that is not understood till you read Midnight sun
Obv with more money the filming should be of better quality and i thought the same thing with the tubes but I just think its funny you get those little mistakes in all films I love to find them it makes me laugh
well you if havent read Midnight sun enjoy, its really good

thanks for the feedback, and yes i did read the first chapter to midnight sun, edwards point of veiw, however i just think they made him more dramatic than neccesary. i do know that as the books continue on he becomes more mellow and in control but it just didnt have what i pictures his emoyions to be. i know everyone has a different perspective when reading the same book though. i still was more so not sold on bellas acting. im hoping for a better sequal though still. i hear dakota fanning and vannessa hiddgins are both in it as well. thanks

Can’t wait for the new film just hope it doesnt loose some of its quailty of being a more independant film i wish they werent putting in actors that have made alot of fame from something else i think it spoils the feel of this film all together but im sure it will look amazing

filming started on monday in downtown vancouver for new moon.pics at twilightersanonymous.com.no fiming to be done in oregon, but its been decide no filming will be done in volterra as it not beautiful enough instead it will be filmed in another city in Italy.auditions for eclipse have not began yet.soz.
howcan they say Volterra is not beautiful enough when its where that scene was based in the film thats funny well soo long as the film looks good and does the book justice i guess thanks for the info

I find it funnny that everyone suuposedly know where the fimling locations are but never say it. Saying that you know where the filming locations doesnt make you better than anyone else and if you actaully did know where they were and are not saying it thats pretty selfish. Either way merely saying a bleak statement that “i know where their filming” doesnt help anyone and makes them just become more annoyed at you

I think they’re keeping pretty tight lipped about where exactly they’re shooting. I understand they don’t want hordes of screaming fans in Vernonia/St. Helens Oregon, but it kind of irks me that they have to have a different set in Vancouver. I’m sure filming in Tuscany will be lots of fun
there filming at lord bing high school in vancouver and there filming new moon and eclipise back to back so if you want a part be quick about it.
oh and i know that because i live in vancouver and my cousins and my friends go to school there

I hear they are in New West, Vancouver, Tofino, Port Coquitlam… I ive in Port Coquitlam and found Jacob Black’s House today but I’ve heard they already filmed there…. although they only began filming 2 weeks ago and were in Tofino for a week… I hope I didn’t miss the filming but I did post my photos up on my website… I shall continue my search

I lived in Forks for 6 years and wish they were filming some parts of the movie there. I hear their filming in Vancouver , but id that washington or Canada? I’m loving this story, Good going. Something new for a change.
