We have quite the discussion going here about “New Moon” casting news and rumors. But the thread is getting huge and cumbersome every time you click on it!
So let’s continue the discussion on this post. Feel free to offer casting tips, news, rumors, and anything else you hear about “New Moon” in the comments below.
The latest I’ve heard is that Vanessa Hudgens is NOT up for a role in the movie. Well, at least, according to Entertainment Weekly: “Sources inside Summit Entertainment and Hudgens’ camp tell EW that the filmmakers aren’t looking at the star for any role in the soon-to-be-shooting ‘Twilight’ followup.”
In fact, the only actors confirmed at this writing are Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, and Taylor Lautner (yes, he’ll be back as Jacob). Chris Weitz will direct the second installment of the vampire series written by Stephenie Meyer, to be released in theaters Nov. 20, 2009.

Hey everyone! I hope all’s well. It’s my 15th birthday (July 17; I live in the EST zone), so now I am exactly the right age to play Bree (which, by the way, is my new twilight saga goal)! I have not been here for more than five minutes in, like 4 months though, and I’m not sure if I’ll ever get caught up (sorry, but it’s true), but ya never know.
Im going for her too!! I LOVE HER. did you get an audition? or have you sent your stuff in yet? They start filming in a month! so it should be picking up here!

I hope! lol we sent in my audition/monologue tape last week..ish…lol but i was tracking it and jeez! it takes quite a while for it to get across the border into Canada! hahh! so yeah! i hope it gets there soon! hey guys!!! this has really slowed down….is anybody going for carmen from the denali clan im going for her …i was gonna go for leah clearwater but u had to be NA….apparently….but yeah im spanish and brazilian so i can go for zaphrina too but idk… what does one do if they wanna go in for any character like lets say i wanna go for carmen and zaphrina do i just tell my agent to send all my stuff in or do i have to specifically choose one?

hey bailey, i think you got hacked or something cuz u emailed me saying you needed money cuz you got stuck in london. The same thing happened to my friend’s email, the email was sent to everyone saying how you need the money cuz you in london or some far away country, and in need of money to get back home.
