It’s arrived! “High School Musical 3: Senior Year,” that is. It’s a great wrap-up to the series and even leaves things open for a younger group to take over the franchise. I don’t know that anyone could ever take over the series like Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens and crew, but you never know. Anyway, here’s a peek at what’s new in theaters right now:

changeling1 Saw V. In the fifth installment of the “Saw” franchise, Hoffman is seemingly the last person alive to carry on the Jigsaw legacy. But, when his secret is threatened, he must go on the hunt to eliminate all loose ends. [Official Site]

Changeling (limited). In 1928 Los Angeles, single mom Christine Collins (Angelina Jolie) arrives home to find her son, Walter, gone. Five months later, her prayers are answered when Walter is found in Illinois. But, to Christine’s horror, the boy who steps off the train is not her son. The authorities disagree with Christine’s assessment, and her only ally is a clergyman (John Malkovich) who sees the case as his chance to expose the corruptness of L.A.’s judicial system. Passengers (limited). Therapist Claire Summers (Anne Hathaway) is tasked to counsel the five survivors of a plane crash. But things get weird when she’s romantically drawn to Eric (Patrick Wilson), who knows more than he’s saying. [Official Site]

Synecdoche, New York (limited). Philip Seymour Hoffman plays theater director Caden Cotard, whose bleak life causes him to leave home, gather an ensemble cast into a warehouse in New York City, and create the ultimate play. [Gecko Preview] [Official Site]

I’ve Loved You For So Long (limited). After serving a lengthy prison sentence, a woman (Kristin Scott Thomas) tries to rebuild her relationship with her estranged sister (Elsa Zylberstein). [Official Site]
