Morgan Freeman Injured in Car Accident

Could The Dark Knight be cursed? Ok, we won’t go that far, but another of its  cast members has met with bad luck.

Morgan Freeman, 71, who played Lucius Fox in the film, has been injured in a serious car accident in Mississippi, reports TMZ.com.

The Oscar-winning actor was reportedly in a one-car accident around 11:30 p.m. last night north of the small town of Ruleville. He was airlifted from the scene to a hospital in Memphis. Alcohol is not suspected as a factor in the accident.

No word on his condition, but state troopers said he was talking at the scene before being taken to the hospital. The condition of an unidentified female passenger is also unknown.
