“Monsters vs. Aliens” Trailer and Super Bowl Spot
February 2, 2009 by Jane Boursaw
"Monsters vs. Aliens" is heading to theaters March 27, 2009. The cute DreamWorks movie follows a young girl (voiced by Reese Witherspoon) who turns into a monster after being hit by a meteorite from outer space. At a secret government facility, she meets a dysfunctional group of monsters also rounded up over the years. And Stephen Colbert plays the President of the United States!
The animation reminds me a lot of “Monsters, Inc.” Check out images here and here. Directed and written by Rob Letterman, it features the voices of Seth Rogen, Paul Rudd, Keifer Sutherland, Hugh Laurie, and others. It’s also the studio’s first movie produced using 3D technology.
