Meryl Streep School Shooting Movie to Debut

Meryl Streep upcoming movie, “Dark Matter” will finally be released in theaters after it was delayed due to the deadly shooting at Virginia Tech.  Yesterday, there was another school shooting in Illinois but it will not affect the film which is about a graduate student who turns violent on a U.S. campus.  

“Dark Matter” also stars Chinese star Liu Ye and is slated to hit theaters on April 11, 2008.  Streep will portray a wealthy patron of the university who befriends the troubled student.

I’m not sure I want to see this but it could be interesting.  It certainly doesn’t sound like Meryl’s other school movie, “Music of the Heart” (insert nervous laughter).
