“Man of the Year” Review

On Saturday night Ariel and I went to see "Man of the Year".  It’s about a late night talk show host played by Robin Williams becoming President of the United States by accident.  This movie definitely had funny moments but I had a hard time taking Robin seriously since he must have been tanked out of his mind during the whole shooting of the movie.

Anyway, the movie was different than I was expecting.  The Trailer makes it sound like Dobbs running for president is a big joke to him but in the movie Dobbs tries not to make his candidacy a laughing matter.  Then they throw a voting fraud scandal in their and the movie gets too serious.

I would say save your money now and rent this later.  It’s worth seeing but not worth running out to the theatres right now with all the crazy lines due to better movies like Borat or Babel.
