Keanu Reeves Talks "Street Kings" on Regis & Kelly
April 9, 2008 by Jane Boursaw
Street Kings opens nationwide in theaters on Friday, April 11, 2008. It looks like a great movie, and it’ll be nice to see Keanu Reeves on screen again. He really hasn’t done much in the way of feature films since 2006’s The Lake House.
In this movie, Reeves plays Tom Ludlow, an LAPD vice detective who makes a vow to do whatever it takes to find the killers of his former partner, Detective Terrance Washington (Terry Crews). Ludlow is assisted by a rookie robbery homicide detective (Chris Evans), while a nervous Captain Wander (Forest Whitaker) keeps a watchful eye over the pair so they don’t come under suspicion from an internal affairs investigator (Hugh Laurie). Looking forward to seeing the brilliant Hugh Laurie outside of House, M.D. (Sadly, that show can’t last forever.)
Directed by David Ayer and written by James Ellroy, Street Kings is rated R for strong violence and pervasive language.
More after the jump, including Keanu Reeves on Regis & Kelly this week…
