Judd Apatow’s Funny People – Preview & Trailer

Isn’t it time for a new Judd Apatow movie? Don’t we all need a laugh right about now? Yes! And thank goodness, “Funny People” is on the way. We’ll have to wait until July 31, 2009 before it hits theaters, but I think it’s one to look forward to.

Adam Sandler plays comedian George Simmons. When he learns he has a terminal illness (ok, so it might not be all fun and laughs), he takes a newbie performer under his wing as his opening act. Also stars a slew of other Apatow regulars, including Jonah Hill, Seth Rogen, and Leslie Mann (because, well, she’s married to the guy – and a great actress, to boot!). No rating yet, but I’m guessing we can count on an R rating for this one. You never know, though! Check out the trailer:
