"Iron Man" Deleted Scene: Not Too R-Rated

A deleted “Iron Man” scene is making the rounds on the Web. It centers on Tony Stark (Robert Downey, Jr.) telling Pepper (Gwyneth Paltrow) to arrange a party at his Dubai house, which ends with three girls in his bed. The scene isn’t great. It’s missing music and includes some unfinished green screen in the background. A good primer on how a scene is built. And I think one of the girls is in the upcoming Bitch Slap film.

The scene gives Tony’s character more of a playboy edge, and also reminds us how rich he really is. Some folks are saying it edges out of PG-13 into an R, but I don’t think so. Sure, it shows three girls in Tony’s bed, but that’s about it.
