I Met Leslie Bibb!

Last week I was in Vancouver, B.C. planning my sister Aliza’s wedding and seeing friends and one night while out at one of the best vegetarian restaurants in the city The Naam I bumped into Leslie Bibb!

I remember her best from the TV show Popular but she’s also been on ER and a number of other TV shows like Nip/Tuck, Crossing Jordan and Just Shoot Me. 

She also recently starred with Will Ferrell and Sacha Baron Cohen in  Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby that comes out on video tomorrow.

So when I saw her come into the restaurant at first I wasn’t sure if it was her and tried pretending to take a picture of my friends Ianiv and Arieanna while trying to catch her in the background.

Then I convinced Arieanna to come with me to talk to her.  We went to the bathroom and I checked my hair. Then we tried to find out where she was sitting in the restaurant without looking too obvious.  At first we didn’t find her because she was tucked away in the back, then we saw where she was and made our move!

I said: "I’m really sorry to bother you, but I’m a huge fan!"

Leslie said "Are you sure, I’m often mistaken for the girl from Lost…"

I said, "You’re Leslie Bibb, right?"

Then she seemed to perk up and shook my hand.  She introduced me to her friend (who is also an actor but I can’t remember who she said he was) and asked me my name.  I asked her why she was in town and she mentioned she’s filming a Halloween movie.  Then I asked her for a picture and she got out of her seat and moved to a different area of the restaurant because she thought the lighting wasn’t good.  Then Arieanna took his picture:

I was shaking because I REALLY loved Popular and she was my favorite.  She’s gorgeous in person even with hardly any makeup!  That coupled with how friendly she was made my day, week, month.
