Hills’ Audrina Lands Movie Role
May 13, 2008 by Jane Boursaw
You know what? I’ve never watched “The Hills.” But maybe I should start, because it certainly gets a ton of press.
Now Audrina Patridge, star of The Hills, has landed her first feature film role. She’s joining the cast of Into the Blue 2, MGM Home Entertainment and Bluewater Prods.’ sequel to the 2005 movie that starred Jessica Alba.
The movie stars Chris Carmack (The O.C.) and Laura Vandervoort (Smallville) as a married couple hired as professional divers to search for Columbus’ hidden treasure. To their horror, they learn that their wealthy employers have a much more terrifying agenda.
Patridge will play a no-nonsense, beautiful beach babe whose boyfriend caters to her every command. She’s the first reality celeb from The Hills to get an acting role in a film. Her co-star, Lauren Conrad, appeared in the 2007 Regency comedy Epic Movie as herself.
“The Hills,” MTV’s highest-rated series, was recently picked up for a fourth season, which will debut in August.
