This Friday, fans of pop star Miley Cyrus and her Disney Channel alter-ego Hannah Montana can see the superstar in theaters (in 3-D!), as she rocks audiences in a 54-city concert tour across the United States last year.
If you’re unfamiliar with Cyrus, she stars in the Disney Channel series “Hannah Montana” as Miley Stewart, an awkward 14-year-old who recently transferred from Tennessee to Malibu, bringing along her older brother, Jackson (Jason Earles), and father, songwriter Robby (Cyrus’ real-life dad, Billy Ray Cyrus).
What her classmates don’t know is that she’s really their pop-singer idol, Hannah Montana. Yeah, I know… My 10-year-old daughter and I look at each other and go: It’s the same girl! Only with a blonde wig! But hey, it’s good TV, so there ya go.
As tween stars go, Cyrus is a pretty good role model for young girls. She dresses appropriately, has a good sense of friends and family and, best of all, she’s managed to stay out rehab!
Now the Giveaway: I have two copies of “Hannah Montana: One in a Million” DVD, which includes 4 episodes of the TV series (including one with the Jonas Brothers).
