Halle Berry Has a Baby Girl

Looks like Halle Berry’s wish to “stay pregnant forever” isn’t going to happen. The Oscar-winning actress delivered a baby girl yesterday and is “doing great,” her rep said. The baby’s father is 32-year-old model Gabriel Aubry.

Berry, 41, announced her pregnancy last September, when she was three months along. She told InStyle she felt fantastic during the pregnancy, thanks to a healthy diet and lots of yoga, swimming and light weights.

For some reason, this news just brightens my day. Halle Berry seems like she’d be a great mom, and after enduring a lot of heartache in her life, she deserves some smooth-sailing for a while. Look for Berry in the upcoming films, “Class Act” and “Tulia.”
