"Gran Torino" – Preview & Trailer

I’m so impressed by the thoughtful, interesting movies that Clint Eastwood has put out in recent years — most recently, “Changeling”. He doesn’t take the easy way out. The characters are never black and white.
“Gran Torino” looks to be another winner in that vein. It stars Eastwood as a disgruntled Korean War vet, Walt Kowalski, who sets out to reform his neighbor, a young Hmong teenager, who tries to steal Kowalski’s prized possesion: his 1972 Gran Torino.
Eastwood also directs and produces the film, scheduled for a Jan. 16, 2009 release. Check out the trailer and see what you think:
