Ghost Town features two of my favorite actors — Ricky Gervais and Greg Kinnear, who knocked me out in Flash of Genius. This movie looks great, too, and you can’t go wrong with the brilliance of Gervais.

He plays Bertram Pincus, a man whose people skills aren’t exactly making him lots of friends. But when Pincus dies unexpectedly, he’s miraculously revived after seven minutes, only to discover that he now has the annoying ability to see ghosts. Even worse, they all want something from him, particularly Frank Herlihy (Kinnear), who pesters him into breaking up the impending marriage of his widow Gwen (Téa Leoni).

More after the jump, including a trailer…

Directed by David Koepp, “Ghost Town” is rated PG-13 for some strong language, sexual humor, and drug references. It opens in theaters Sept. 19, 2008. Check out the trailer below, and for a clip of Gervais checking into the hospital for his colonoscopy, visit ComingSoon.net.
