The remake of “Friday the 13th” is coming to theaters on — of course! — Friday, Feb. 13, 2009. This retelling of the story heads back to summer camp, where a mysterious killer is systematically slaughtering the teenage camp counselors.
Directed by Marcus Nispel, it stars Derek Mears, Amanda Righetti, Danielle Panabaker, Jared Padalecki, and Jonathan Sadowski. Not rated yet, but I think we can predict it’ll have an R rating. Check out this sneak preview:

It looks very scary …huge hit slasher movie of my favourite Sexy Supernatural star ‘Jared Padalecki’….Congrats to your great success of your new movie ..So glad Jared has become one of the huge megastar in the TV and movie industry !!! He is the most sweet and gorgeous guy on this planet …Can’t wait to see his new movie Friday the 13th when it will be out next month soon after Jensen’s ( his onscreen brother from Supernatural) movie ‘My Bloody Valentine ‘ has just been released here in the UK…(Haven’t seen it yet but won’t miss it ) which I’m sure is a huge hit too …especially in 3D!!! Well done Jared & Jensen!!!!
