THE DVD: “Smart People” stars Dennis Quaid as Lawrence Wetherhold, a recently widowed literature professor who’s wandering numbly through life until an accident lands him in the hospital. He reconnects with a former student (Sarah Jessica Parker) and his dysfunctional family: Ellen Page and Ashton Holmes as his kids, and Thomas Haden Church as his slacker brother.

The family is so dysfunctional, reminds me of my own family especially my grandparents emotions and plans changes so quick! And My great grandma has not thrown anything of my great grandpas stuff away and its been forty years…=( I would really love to show my family this movie, to make them laugh at how similar we are.
