Downloading Nancy – Preview & Trailer

Ready for a really disturbing movie? Ain’t It Cool News calls “Downloading Nancy” (in theaters June 5, 2009) one of the most disturbing movies they’ve ever seen. Based on the trailer, it does look darn disturbing Like someone searching for something meaningful in all the wrong places.

It stars Rufus Sewell as Albert Stockwell, a guy who comes home from work one day to find a note from his wife of 15 years, Nancy (Maria Bello). The note says she’s gone to see friends, but after several days with no word, Albert realizes that Nancy is missing.

Turns out she’s hooked up with a guy she met on the Internet, Louis (Jason Patric), but just who is this man, and what does he really want from Nancy? And what does SHE want from him?

Are you planning on seeing “Downloading Nancy”? I’d just like Maria Bello to lighten up a little. She’s a great actress, but always does these heavy, depressing movies. Just sayin’… Check out the official poster at Cinematical.
