"Disaster Movie" Preview and Trailer

August 17, 2008 by Jane Boursaw

disastermovieposter The 14-year-old is looking forward to seeing Disaster Movie, and frankly, I think he’s reached his quota of stupid movies filled with crude content and drug references for the year.

Yes, it’s another movie from the team who made Scary Movie, Date Movie, Epic Movie, and Meet the Spartans. It follows the comic misadventures of a group of impossibly attractive 20-somethings during one fateful night as they encounter every disaster known to man: asteroids, twisters, earthquakes, and so on and so forth.

No one is safe from satire — from Indiana Jones and Iron Man to Amy Winehouse and High School Musical. Ok, maybe it doesn’t sound all that bad.

More after the jump, including a trailer…

Directed by Jason Friedberg and Aaron Seltzer, this movie is rated PG-13 for crude and sexual content throughout, language, drug references and comic violence. Stars Matt Lanter, Vanessa Minnillo, Carmen Electra and Kim Kardashian. Opens in theaters Aug. 29, 2008.

Watch the Trailer (it really does look pretty funny, in a crude, offensive way):
