Depp, Law and Farrell to Finish "Imaginarium" for Ledger

February 18, 2008 by Jeanne

heath_ledger Variety is reporting that Johnny Depp, Jude Law and Colin Farrell will be finishing the work on Terry Gilliam’s “The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus” after the film’s star, Heath Ledger, died suddenly last month.  This will be made possible by the fact that Ledger’s character is transported into three separate dimensions in the fantasy tale and, in these new worlds, he will take on the physical forms of Depp, Law, and Farrell.

I think it could work.  I feel sad about the loss of Ledger but it’s also tragic when a film is finally coming to fruition, only to be jeopardized this way.  I’m hoping they find a way to complete the project tastefully and in a way that is pleasing to audiences.
