"Defiance" – Trailer

You know, I almost wonder if people will be looking for more light-hearted films to ease the pressures of everyday life in the coming months. If so, they might want to avoid Defiance, which looks pretty heavy-duty.
Directed by Edward Zwick, it’s based on the true story of three Jewish brothers (Daniel Craig, Liev Schreiber and Jamie Bell), who, in WWII Russia, escape from Nazi-occupied Poland into the Belarussian forest. There, they join Russian resistance fighters and attempt to build a village in order to protect themselves and others in danger. Rated R for violence and language, look for it in theaters Dec. 12, 2008. Check out the trailer:
