Daniel Day-Lewis Talks Heath on Oprah

Daniel Day-Lewis was interviewed by Oprah via satellite yesterday. But instead of talking about his Oscar nomination for “There Will Be Blood,” the actor took the opportunity to offer his heartfelt comments on Heath Ledger’s death.
Although he didn’t know Ledger, Day-Lewis said he respected his work and felt a little odd talking about the Oscars in the wake of this tragedy.
