Corey Haim Back in The Lost Boys 2!

Corey Haim will be back in “The Lost Boys 2: The Tribe.” Originally, his character, Sam Emerson, was cut from the film but those scenes are now being reintroduced. So, we will get to see Corey Haim and Corey Feldman together again.
I’ve got to say that I am less than thrilled about this. Back when “The Lost Boys” came out, I was going through a major Haim addiction. I also liked Feldman and when they came together, it was incredible! I love everything about that movie (the soundtrack was my introduction to The Doors) and I pretty much feel like it should be left alone. When I saw that episode of The Two Coreys (when Feldman tells Haim that he’s not going to be in the sequel), I was secretly happy. I know Haim is trying to make a comeback but I didn’t want it to be this way. Ugh. Leave my horror movies alone – please!!!
The film (if you choose to call it that) is set to be released on DVD in July, 2008.

Jeanne your dumb!This movie is’nt about you or for you!How can you say that you have ever been a corey haim or feldman fan & a Lost boys fan but that you don’t look forward to a sequel?It’s not gonna ruin the original because the original it finished,done,over!This is a sequel not a remake!Nothing will ever ruin the original!This is just ment to be fun & entertaining for the true LOST BOYS fans!To see Corey Haim & Corey Feldman slaying vampires again after 20 long awaited years is awasome!!!I can’t wait!!I hope that idiots like you don’t ruin the lost boys sequels chances of making a debut in the theaters on the bigscreen!These guys deserve to be back on the big screen once & for all!!!!!So if you were ever a fan of the two coreys or the Lost Boys then keep you negative opinions to your self & don’t stomp on their glory & try to ruin their chances of a comeback!!!!!!!!!
I’m sorry you feel that way, John, and I also think it’s unfortunate to call people who do not agree with you “dumb” or “idiot.”
That being said, I watch the Two Coreys religiously, I absolutely love Corey Haim and I stand behind my original thoughts. I am not sure if finally being allowed back into a movie you were erased from that is going directly to DVD is the ideal vehicle for Corey. In fact, I think it could be damaging.
I am not sure if you are aware, but this movie revolves around the children of Sam’s character. The two Coreys are not at the center of the plot.
Also, just to let you know that this movie is confirmed as being released on DVD and will NOT be going to theaters. If that changes in the future, I will update this post. For now, it remains as is.

They’re actually Sams neice and nephew. Corey Feldman talked about it on an mtv interview which can be viewed on the mtv website. Also Corey will be in CRANK 2 which is his first theatrical release since Dream a little Dream. The 2 Coreys is scripted, which both addmitted on amorning show a few months back.
It is sad, to see how much HAIM has fallen!!
I think or thought, seeing him in Lost Boys, would help get him back on track, but appparently like an addict, now needs his drugs to get him through the movie!! I watched a scene, where he was fighting with the Producer! Not very smart, he is so self destructive, its sad!!
I half to say that I am an extreme vampire and werewolf movie fan and I am and will always be a corey Feldman and corey Haim fan I don’t care that there is any issues that Haim may have with addiction gees in this day and age I am thrilled that he is still alive and I think its great that he can still wow us in the theatre. As for Corey Feldman Rock on… U know what i Mean. I love em both And I think they still rock together.

Corey Haim you were awesome 20 years ago I have watched you in just about everything that you have done then and now, I Think you are very talented very sexy and my kid watches you now and we still think that sam ( you ) are great.
