I know the SAG Awards were a while back, but Betty White’s acceptance speech for her Life Achievement Award was so adorable. Here it is, in case you missed it. She’s such a gem.

I’m meeting some friends to see “When in Rome” on Friday. It just looks like a fun romantic comedy that’s perfect to see either with friends or your main squeeze.
Here Kristen Bell and Josh Duhamel talk about filming the movie, about a young, ambitious New Yorker whose completely unlucky in love. But all that changes on a trip to Rome, where she impulsively steals some coins from a reputed fountain of love, causing her to be aggressively pursued by a band of suitors.

Here’s a little video highlights clip from last night’s "Hope for Haiti" telethon, organized by George Clooney  to help those hit by the devastating earthquake. It really does a heart good to see something like this come together so fast, and with ALL the celebrities that were involved.
Madonna, U2, Bruce Springsteen and dozens more helped to raise money for the earthquake victims. I don’t see a tally yet, but 100% of the funds go towards the relief efforts. You can donate by going to Hope for Haiti Now or calling 1-877-994-2484.  

I’m not too sure about Ricky Gervais’ hosting skills at the Golden Globes the other night. He sort of bombed out. And I even talked with him a few weeks before the event, and he said he’d be nice and have fun with it.
Well, here’s the thing. You can’t make fun of a bunch of people who are sitting right in front of you. “The Twilight Saga: New Moon” hasn’t been buzzed about too much in terms of awards, but that doesn’t mean the cast and crew will be absent from the Golden Globes, Oscars and other upcoming awards festivities.
Here’s a clip from ReelzChannel in which Anna Kendrick talks about her roles in “New Moon” and “Up in the Air.” Kendrick has been nominated for a Golden Globe for best supporting actress in “Up in the Air.”

Anna Kendrick has it rough, doesn’t she? What a nightmare it’s been for her, starring with both Robert Pattinson and George Clooney in the same year. Man, I feel for her.
The adorable actress appeared on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” and set the record straight on her co-stars from “The Twilight Saga: New Moon” and “Up in the Air.” I’d have to go with Clooney.

If there’s any doubt that Michael Cera is a troublemaker, this clip from MTV should clear things up. “Well, last night we almost got kicked out of the hotel for playing piano,” said the star of “Youth in Revolt” (in theaters this weekend).
Seriously, I really love Michael Cera, even though he basically plays the same character in every film. 
And by the way, don’t you think he should do a biopic on Garry Shandling’s life? Same here (see below).

For the most part, it seemed very low-key, with nothing too shocking or awkward happening (except for some of the lame jokes). Oh, and Mariah Carey nearly tripped on her way up to the stage, but that’s nothing new.
