Taylor Lautner: Chris Weitz was always supportive
November 17, 2009 by Jane Boursaw
Before it was confirmed that Taylor Lautner would return as Jacob Black in “The Twilight Saga: New Moon,” there were some dark times at the end of 2008. But he says he tried to focus on things he could control, rather than being sucked into the black hole of what was going on.
"Chris [Weitz] was always extremely supportive and I was glad to have him behind me," Lautner says. He is such a cutie! And I’m like some lovelorn Twi-hard teeny-bopper!
“New Moon” hits theaters in three days. Have you got your tickets? I do!
Megan Fox talks to NYT Magazine about changing her image
November 16, 2009 by Jane Boursaw
There’s a new interview with Megan Fox in the New York Times Magazine, in which she talks about changing her image.
Ok, here’s a little tip, Megan. If you want to change your image, you might consider a photo shoot in something other than your underwear. And I’m not talking nude either. How about a nice classy shoot a la Old Hollywood?
Catch Megan Fox next as Leila in “Jonah Hex,” due in theaters June 18, 2010.
Dakota Fanning talks ‘New Moon’ and Vampires on Ellen
November 16, 2009 by Jane Boursaw
Dakota Fanning stopped by the Ellen DeGeneres show to plug “The Twilight Saga: New Moon,” as well as show a new clip. That Ellen is such a prankster, though; she pulled a little vampire switch on Dakota (who’s totally grown up now!). “New Moon” hits theaters this Friday, Nov. 20, 2009.
New Moon’s Volturi dish about the movie
November 14, 2009 by Jane Boursaw
The Volturi clan has a few things to say about what it was like to film “The Twilight Saga: New Moon.” Hollywood Dailies caught up with Michael Sheen, Jaime Campbell Bower, Dakota Fanning, and Cameron Bright to hear what they had to say about their vampire inspirations and wearing those red contacts.
And apparently, Dakota Fanning and Kristen Stewart are BFFs, having filmed “New Moon,” “The Runaways,” and “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse” together back to back.
“New Moon” hits theaters next Friday, Nov. 20, 2009.
John Travolta thanks fans on Ellen DeGeneres
November 11, 2009 by Jane Boursaw
John Travolta is out and about promoting his upcoming movie, “Old Dogs,” and stopped by the Ellen DeGeneres show today. The movie looks really fun, but it’s awesome to see Travolta doing well enough to make appearances again.
He thanked the fans for all the love and support they’ve offered during the difficult time following his son Jet’s death.
“Old Dogs” opens in theaters Nov. 25, 2009. Also check out Access Hollywood’s interview with Travolta, wife Kelly Preston and daughter Elle Bleu. All three appear in the movie, along with Robin Williams.
John Cusack and Amanda Peet talk ‘2012’
November 10, 2009 by Jane Boursaw
Josh Horowitz over at MTV Movies sat down with John Cusack and Amanda Peet to talk about their upcoming disaster film, "2012." I’m with Peet, who says, “I love ‘Day After Tomorrow,’ but I didn’t watch them when I was younger because I was too scared.”
But I’m definitely going to catch “2012,” in theaters this Friday, Nov. 13, 2009. Directed by Roland Emmerich, the movie also stars Thandie Newton and Woody Harrelson. Check out a 5-minute clip of the film here. There’s some major computer generated effects in this one.
The Travoltas talk about making Old Dogs – it’s a family affair
November 9, 2009 by Jane Boursaw
My heart continues to go out to John Travolta, his wife Kelly Preston and daughter Ella Bleu as they move forward after losing Jet so tragically. Access Hollywood recently caught up with the three, who talked about making “Old Dogs” together, in theaters Nov. 25, 2009.
They look great in the interview, and seem to be doing well. Ella talked about wanting to be an actress, how she plans on handling fame, and she also diplomatically said she looked like a mix of both John and Kelly.
It will be really fun to see all of them on screen together …read more
Kristen Stewart and Rob Pattinson in Splitsville?
October 27, 2009 by Jane Boursaw
Well, darn, I haven’t even had a chance to check out the People magazine story about how Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson have moved in together and listen to the Rolling Stones and have quiet dinners at home.
Now CelebTV is reporting that the stars of “The Twilight Saga: New Moon” have called it quits. Rumor has it he wanted to get married, but she wasn’t ready. Let’s hope they’re still speaking, or that could get pretty interesting for the next two “Twilight” movies.
Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer back together?
October 15, 2009 by Jane Boursaw
John Mayer always seems like such a dope in interviews, and I can’t understand what Jennifer Aniston would see in him. But hey, you never know what people are like behind the cameras. The ex-couple have been spotted together around New York lately. Could they be back together? My inner voice is telling Jen to run, Jen, run!
You can catch Aniston right now in “Love Happens” with Aaron Eckhart (the two have zero chemistry onscreen – seriously, she’d have better chemistry with John Mayer).
New Moon’s Ashley Greene poses for sexy photo shoot
October 14, 2009 by Jane Boursaw
Want to see more of Ashley Greene, next up in “The Twilight Saga: New Moon”? Check out her sexy photo shoot in the November 2009 issue of Men’s Fitness magazine.
She plays vampire Alice Cullen in the “Twilight” sequel, and spills about the movie – as well as her dating rules – in the magazine. She really is gorgeous, and I love her upbeat character in the movie.
